Lisa Engel is a Board member of The Women's Fund of Greater Birmingham. The Mission of the Women's Fund is "to promote women's philanthropy, to grow our endowment for future generations and to serve as a catalyst for positive social change for women and girls in our community".  On Thursday, October 6 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. the Women's Fund will host a Smart Women's Party atop The Kress Building. The event is free and open to the public.  You may call or email Luann Higginbotham at 205.326.4454 or [email protected] for more information.

It is an honor for me to submit a painting to the Women's Fund, at Lisa's request, for inclusion in their Silent Auction.  The painting is an interior and entitled The Yellow Couch.  The interior is the den of my home.
